Teri's career as a massage therapist began in 2003 when she received her training at the Center of Advanced Therapeutics in Denver. Soon after, Teri started her private practice, Body Wellness Massage Therapy. Through years of dedication and passion for massage and bodywork, Teri's practice has grown into a successful Denver business, located on south Downing street in the DU neighborhood.

Teri specializes in deep tissue, sports massage and post op care. She works often with clients recovering from auto accidents, surgery, repetitive movement injuries, sports related injuries and the everyday aches and pains from daily life. Teri has experience treating many conditions such as, nerve impingement pain, disc injuries, whiplash, frozen shoulder, piriformis syndrome, plantar fasciitis, shin splints, knee pain, migraine headaches and more. "My goal is to assist my clients bodies to heal as quickly as possible, so they can get back to living their fullest, happiest lives free of pain and discomfort". By advocating preventative self care and wellness outside of the massage sessions, Teri's approach focuses on the long term health of her clients.

Teri's massage sessions are tailored to treat her clients specific needs. Her diverse training and experience enables her to provide her clients with many types of bodywork, integrating deep tissue massage, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage massage, active release technique and exercise therapies. She is also an experienced Pre and Post Natal Therapist, Reiki Master Practitioner and Physical Therapy Technician.

After being in an auto accident in 2015, Teri experienced first hand the impact chronic pain can have on one's well being, giving her new insight into what many of her clients struggle with. Thankfully, after receiving routine Massage Therapy and Chiropractic care, she was able to heal, confirming for her once again the amazing benefits of massage and bodywork. "Having suffered with intense, chronic pain myself, I work from a place of such compassion. When my clients walk into my office in extreme pain, I have a whole new understanding of what that feels like and has in turn, benefited me as a therapist. Assisting my clients bodies in the healing process and seeing their pain lessen after our sessions together is why I do what I do. I am so fortunate to be doing what I love".
